Privacy Policy

This page explains what aiappsevaluator.com collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

What this comes down to

  • There are no accounts on this site. You can read every review without giving me anything.
  • If you email me or use the contact form, I keep your message and address only to reply.
  • Affiliate links set cookies on the vendor's side. That is how commissions are tracked.
  • Nothing is sold, rented, or traded. Ever.
  • Want your data gone? Email reviewaiapps@gmail.com and it's deleted.

1. Who runs this site

aiappsevaluator.com, published under the name My AI Experience, is an independent review site operated by one person. For anything in this policy, the contact is the contact page or reviewaiapps@gmail.com.

"I" and "me" below mean the site operator. "You" means anyone visiting the site.

Replace this paragraph with your legal name, business name, and registered address if you operate as a business or your country requires an imprint. Several jurisdictions — Germany in particular — require an identifiable operator on the site.

2. What is collected

There is no login, no account, and no user profile on this site. Data reaches me in three ways.

DataWhenWho receives it
Name, email, message, page URL Only when you submit the contact form or email me Me, plus Netlify (form processing)
IP address, browser, referring page Automatically, on every page request Netlify (hosting logs)
IP address Automatically, when fonts load Google Fonts
Click and purchase events Only when you click an affiliate link The vendor's affiliate network

I do not collect payment details, because nothing is sold here. Purchases happen entirely on the vendor's own checkout, under their privacy policy.

3. Why it is collected

  • To reply to you. Your email address is used to answer your message and nothing else.
  • To keep the site running. Server logs are how hosting detects errors, abuse, and traffic spikes.
  • To get paid. Affiliate networks credit a commission when a purchase follows a click from here. That crediting is the only reason those cookies exist.

If you are in the EU or UK, the legal bases are legitimate interest for security logs and affiliate attribution, and consent for anything you actively submit, such as the contact form.

4. Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. It has no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no tracking beacon at the time of writing.

Cookies can still land in your browser from two places: the affiliate networks described below, and any embedded video you choose to play. Blocking cookies in your browser settings will not break anything on this site, though it may stop a vendor from crediting a bonus to your purchase.

If you later add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or an ad network, this section stops being accurate and you must update it and add a consent banner for EU and UK visitors. Ask me to revise this page when that happens.

5. Affiliate links

Many outbound links here are affiliate links. When you click one, the vendor's network records the click, usually with a cookie, so that a purchase made afterwards is credited to this site. I earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

What I receive back is a count and a commission figure. I do not receive your name, your email, or your payment details from those networks.

Commission never changes a score. Tools that fail the test get a low score and a link to something better. Full terms are on the affiliate disclosure page.

6. Third parties

These services process data on this site's behalf. Each has its own privacy policy, which governs what they do with it.

  • Netlify — hosting and contact form processing. Receives server logs and form submissions.
  • Google Fonts — serves the two typefaces used here. Receives your IP address when a page loads.
  • Affiliate networks — such as JVZoo, WarriorPlus, ClickBank, or a vendor's own program. Receive click and purchase events.
  • YouTube — only if you click through to a walkthrough video. Nothing is embedded that loads before you ask for it.

Some of these are based in the United States, so data may be processed outside your country.

7. How long it is kept

  • Emails and form submissions — kept while the conversation is useful, then deleted. Correction reports are kept longer, because they document why a review changed.
  • Server logs — held by Netlify on their own schedule, typically a matter of weeks.
  • Affiliate records — held by the network, on their schedule, not mine.

Ask me to delete your message and I will, unless I am legally required to keep it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, receive a copy, or object to its use. In the EU and UK this comes from the GDPR; in California, from the CCPA and CPRA.

To use any of these, email reviewaiapps@gmail.com. You do not need a specific form of words — "delete my data" is enough. Expect a reply within 30 days, usually far sooner.

I have never sold personal information and have no plans to. If you are in the EU or UK and think I have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.

9. Children

This site is meant for adults evaluating software purchases and is not directed at anyone under 16. I do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, email me and I will delete it.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, is static, and has no database to breach. Form submissions travel encrypted to Netlify. Email is stored in a Google account protected by two-factor authentication.

No system is perfect, and I will not pretend otherwise. If you find a security problem, please report it through the contact page before disclosing it publicly.

11. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes — a new analytics tool, a new ad network — will be noted on the site rather than slipped in quietly. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a request to see or delete your data:

Email: reviewaiapps@gmail.com
Web: aiappsevaluator.com/contact/

Replies usually take 1–2 business days.
